Kathy’s Mission 2 Report:

On behalf of the children of Hancock County School District, I would like to say thank you for your generosity. We were honored to present to them 1,018 book bags, 100 boxes of school supplies/library books and 21 boxes of new clothes.

This token of compassion brought many smiles and great joy. Teachers cried and children giggled at the sight of all those beautiful book bags filled with supplies. Each classroom was told that people in Georgia care about the people of Mississippi that were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Your donations were distributed to 3 elementary schools grades K-5 (i.e. Charles B. Murphy, Gulfview and East Hancock) and 1 Pre-K school (The Hawk’s Nest).

On a personal note: I would like you to know that the opportunity to bless these children with your donations will be counted as one of the most memorable moments of my life.

A special thanks Savannah Technical College, Savannah, Georgia for donating the tractor trailer and delivering all of our donations to Mississippi. Great job, Evelyn and Stephanie.
